COVID POLICY UPDATE - MASK OPTIONAL POLICY EXTENDED
As our neighboring contra dance communities have continued their mask-optional dances, and we received no reports of COVID cases after our first two dances of the season, we will be continuing our mask-optional policy at this time. We may still reinstate our former COVID-19 precautions at any time in response to public health recommendations, the venue's policy, and other contra dance communities' policies, and we still strongly encourage wearing a face mask at our dances.
An email address for COVID exposure notifications and waivers for CFS and Gatton Hall will continue to be required at this time, just once at the start of the 2023-24 dance season. Though not currently required at regular Saturday dances, face masks and up-to-date COVID-19 vaccination are strongly encouraged. Face masks will still be required at specific dances, for the safety and comfort of the musicians and callers, and due to the likelihood of dancers attending from out of town.
For more information on attendance requirements and other precautions, please see our current COVID-19 policy here:

Cucunandy is a Corvallis band with Katie Maxey on fiddle, Beth Brown on cello and pennywhistle, Riley Neil on guitar, and Laureen Urey on Bodhran. They play an eclectic mix of traditional and modern Celtic and Celtic inspired tunes.
A long-time contra dancer and Seattle transplant, Isaac Banner has worked for several years to become known in the Pacific Northwest for his particular blend of humor and dance instruction. With contagious excitement, a warm cadence, and a cheerful personality, he strives to bring moments of magic into the lives of newcomers and veteran dancers alike. Contra has always held a special place in his heart and he tries to share that love with every dance he visits.
