In this recital, Continuo becomes both musical metaphor and personal marker: a steady pulse beneath change, growth, and new direction.
For Job Polvoriza, this program marks a moment of continuity, not departure. As he prepares to pursue graduate studies in Baroque cello at the Hochschule für Musik Würzburg, he carries with him not just a new artistic direction, but the full weight of the journey that brought him here: the memories, the training, the struggles, and above all, the music that shaped him, and the people who shaped it with him.
As in life, there is no clear dividing line, only a continuum. Continuo is not a break from the past, but an ongoing conversation with it. This recital is both a reflection and a renewal: a farewell that looks backward with gratitude and forward with purpose.
