You asked and we listened! Missoula Urban Demonstration Project is excited to offer you another NEW intermediate level course. Are you ready to dive deeper into maintaining your vehicle? Do you have some prior knowledge of fixing up your car? Then this workshop is perfect for you!Join MUD for a 3 hour workshop where we’ll take it past the basics and discuss the function and replacement of multiple components within your vehicles. We’ll discuss shocks and struts, how to understand your car’s suspension system, proper replacement of brake pads and routers and identifying old fluids and flushing them! You’ll get hands-on experience with multiple vehicles and leave with a better understanding of how to approach some of these fixes and how to save money by doing it yourself. Yes, you CAN!
While you don’t need to have a large amount of experience with auto mechanics, this course is designed for those who feel confident in changing their own oil, replacing a tire, and other basics. If you haven’t had the chance to learn these skills yet, take a look at our Women-Led Introduction to Car Maintenance workshop! Wondering if this workshop is right for you? Email [email protected] to find out!
This workshop is designed to be a welcoming and inclusive space for everyone, regardless of gender identity! We’re committed to creating an environment that is friendly, collaborative, and encouraging. Let’s learn together and support each other!
The growth of our Women-Led workshops would not be made possible without the generosity of the Llewelyn Family Foundation. Thanks to their sponsorship we are able to offer Scholarships, supplies and enthusiastic instructors for our Women-Led Workshop series.
