About Ingrid Oliu
Ingrid Oliu is an acclaimed Latina actress and storyteller whose career spans film, television, and theatre. She first gained recognition for her role as Lupe Escobar in the beloved 1988 classic Stand and Deliver and later appeared in Real Women Have Curves. She also voiced Officer Renee Montoya in the groundbreaking Batman: The Animated Series, one of the first Latina characters in the Batman universe.
Throughout her career, Ingrid has been known for bringing authenticity, depth, and heart to her roles while advocating for Latina representation, equity in the arts, and community storytelling.
