Contentment can be hard to find. Much of the time we search for contentment in things, achievements or relationships. With meditation and contemplation practice, we can relax with ourselves as we are and appreciate simple human experience. Difficult emotions and the challenges of life can be met with gentleness, mindfulness and inquisitiveness.This five-week course is open to all. No previous experience with meditation is required. Contentment in Everyday Life is the second course offered in the Everyday Life series of courses and is open to everyone, including those who have completed Meditation in Everyday Life.
The purpose of Contentment in Everyday Life is to introduce an experience and understanding of contentment as the foundation for both the spiritual path and a sane life. We want to connect with our everyday life, circumstances, and emotions.
