This postgraduate research symposium focuses on contemporary debates in postcolonial, decolonial and world literary and cultural studies
About this Event

This postgraduate symposium, a collaboration between the Open University and the University of Exeter, will feature panels of MA and PhD student presentations of their research in individual fifteen-minute papers.

The symposium includes papers and discussion on the latest developments in the field, and also peer discussion of how to disseminate and publish your research, advice on career paths in and beyond academia, and the PhD process.

The event is convened by Alex Tickell and Anne Wetherilt of the Open University and Jane Poyner of the University of Exeter.

The event will take place 9:00 – 16:30 BST, Saturday 26 April 2024 and is a live face to face event.

Location: University of Exeter, Streatham Campus, Exeter.

The event is free, but booking is essential - lunch and refreshments will be provided.
