✨ Join us for a Contemporary Dance Workshop with Ekaterina Shushakova! ✨We’re thrilled to welcome Ekaterina Shushakova, an extraordinary dancer and performer, to Moving Vibes Studio on March 14th and 15th. Ekaterina brings with her a wealth of experience, having trained at the prestigious Codarts Rotterdam Dance Academy and performed with renowned companies such as Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch, GöteborgsOperan Danskompani, Ballet Basel, and many others. With collaborations alongside world-class choreographers like Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, Sharon Eyal, Dimitris Papaioannou, and Marina Mascarell, her career spans across diverse and iconic works in the contemporary dance world.
Workshop Overview: Ekaterina’s workshop will focus on movement exploration and theatrical presence in space, aiming to nurture authenticity in performance. Whether creating your own material or learning new movement styles, this workshop will help you connect deeper with your body and express yourself more genuinely on stage.
On Friday, March 14th from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM, she will hold a contemporary class, where you will dive into her movement style and material.
On Saturday, March 15th from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM, she will offer an improvisation class as a warm-up, followed by a more personal, explorative session focusing on individual creative expression.
The core of this workshop will be about connecting to personal emotional states in order to create movement and to truly express yourself through dance. ✨
Important Notes: A minimuum of 3 years of contemporary dance experience is required, to be mentioned in the registration email.
Also, it would be wonderful if participants could attend both days to fully immerse in the experience. However, if you’re unable to attend both days, please send an email to the studio upon registration, specifying which day you will be present. This will help us reorganize the workshop accordingly.
