Class will be taught by experienced dancers who are encouraging, non-judgemental and fun to be around. Each week will begin with a warmup that focuses on different movement ideas including shaking, stretching, swinging and the transfer of weight to prepare the body for movement. Class will then progress through more structured short phrases and an introduction to floor work.
We adhere to safe physical, emotional and cultural practises to ensure we create an environment that is safe and healthy to learn in. Overall dancers are encouraged to play, grow their skills, find greater freedom in their bodies and have a wonderful time.
