Contemporary Dance for Burlesque-Workshop will focus on incorporating contemporary movement to aid in building a vocabulary for a burlesque number to portray a certain character or feeling. The workshop will begin with a warmup and stretching. Then move into defining what it means to build a movement vocabulary around a feeling or character. It will conclude with students learning a piece of choreography and applying it to a few different feelings/moods.
What to Wear/Bring: Water, and wear whatever makes you feel comfortable.
