At Empire Studios we teach Contemporary-Ballet to youth.This is a modern take on ballet, fusing both ballet and contemporary disciplines, allowing younger dancers the opportunity to experience both genres; the discipline of ballet with the expression of contemporary dance.

Contemporary Dance is interpretive dance that embraces innovation, blending techniques from various genres, including ballet, jazz, modern dance, lyrical, as well as the use of devices such as spoken word, multi-media, soundscapes, that all play a role in the act of physical storytelling
