We visit "Casablanca Art School" at IFA, "Séance" at House and "Attune" at Hamburger Bahnhof, which all deal with themes of timeThe three shows selected for this tour, "CAS - Casablanca Art School'' at IFA (Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen), "Séance" at House and "Attune" at Hamburger Bahnhof deal with themes around time, how the past influences us but they explore how it is possible to produce new narratives and shift perspectives through active engagement and self-awareness. CAS (Casablanca Art School) is a multimedia archive to show the development and history of the art school in Morocco after they gained independence; Séance looks at the photos of Jeff Cowen (as well as other artists) and contextualises them within a Wilhelmine building complex in a former shooting range from the 1930s; and Alexandra Piciri's performance "Attune" at Hamburger Bahnhof explores how human and non-human resemble, re-assemble, influence and attune to one another, a discourse in flexibility and adaptation.
The tour takes place in English; the meeting point is in front of ifa Galerie, Linienstraße 139/140, Berlin 10555
