Inspirad@s is an initiative to promote Hispanic-American arts and literature in Canada and support cultural exchange with Latin American countries through inclusive activities.
Eugenia Zicavo (Buenos Aires, 1978). PhD in Social Sciences. Sociologist. Journalist. Professor and researcher at the Faculty of Social Sciences (UBA) and in Art and Culture Management (UNTREF). Director of the television program "Bibliomanos" (Public TV). Author of the book "Feminisms: since when and until when?" (TNC, 2019).
Cultural columnist in various media (C5N, Radio Metro, FM Nacional Rock) and editorial advisor for the magazine La mujer de mi vida. Her texts can be read in national and international media such as Ñ, Perfil, Tiempo Argentino, Anfibia, El Planeta Urbano, La República (Uruguay), and specialized academic journals.
Her chronicle “Buenos Aires was a party” is part of the Anthology of current Latin American chronicles edited in 2012 by Alfaguara España, also published in Argentina. Her text “My life Palermo” is part of the book "Con el corazón en la boca" published in 2014 by Aguilar.
Her TV show “Libroteca” (Canal de la Ciudad) received the FundTV, Pregonero, UBA, and ATVC awards. Her podcast “Pointers: Listening Book Club” is available on Spotify.
Her radio show "Mark as Read" is available on Futurock FM radio and Spotify.
Since 2021, she has been running the Inspirad@s series: "Times of women writers".
