About this Event
Learn to grow medicinal herbs, foods, and vegetables in containers! In this 4-class series, learn, grow, and share in community with other container and small-space gardeners.
March 22nd: In this class, we will focus on how to start plants from seed. We'll also have a seed swap, so bring any seeds you might have to share!
The next two classes will provide learning and support for growing herbs and vegetables in containers. Bring your own containers and pots from home. Some plants and herbs will also be available for discounted purchase at Smile.
May 24th: In this class, we will learn how to grow medicinal herbs in containers.
June 22nd: This class will focus on growing foods and vegetables in containers.
Aug 23rd: Our final gathering will be a harvest share with more learning and instruction for fall gardening ideas and a lifetime of container gardening.

About the Instructor:
Hi, I'm Meaghan, a Smile Herb employee, clinical herbalist, and Garden Educator based out of Baltimore.
My love of plants was passed down from my father and great grandmother who taught me how to garden and the medicinal uses for the plants that grow around us.
As a 9th generation Marylander, I feel deeply connected to this land and the plants here. I love learning and sharing traditional remedies and gardening practices that carried my ancestors to liberation and good health.
