(english below)Urs Stauffer immár harmadik alkalommal érkezik hozzánk Budapestre workshopot tartani, magával hozva tapasztalatát és elmélyült lestisztult megközelítítését a Kontakt Improvizációhoz. Az idei workshopot Steve Paxton emlékének ajánljuk.

Remembering Steve
Egy 2022-es cikkében Steve ezt írja a Kontakt Improvizációról: “Menj túl az apró mozgáson, arra helyre ahol nem érkezik üzenet. … [A Kontakt Improvizáció] egy tánc amely nem rólad vagy a partneredről szól, hanem a táncról és annak mozgásáról."
Eltűnődök:
–Képesek vagyunk-e elengedni elvársainkat egy Kontakt Improvizáció táncban?
–Hol van a hely, ahol „nincs üzenet?”
–Milyen irányokba indulhatunk innen?
–Hogyan összpontosítjuk elménk figyelmét az ürességre, ha mindaz amit észlelünk információ a saját testünkről, egy másik táncosról, a környezetről?
–Hogyan maradhatunk éberek a kicsiben?
–Hová visz minket a mozgás, ha a kicsiből indulunk?
A workshop során ezzel a néhány kérdéssel szeretnék dolgozni.

Ursról:
1989-ben találkoztam először Steve Paxtonnal és mélyen megérintett a tánca. A rákövetkező évben, 1990-ben volt előszöt alkalmam Bonnie Bainbridge Cohennel dolgozni és rögtön tudtam, hogy a Body-Mind Centering® egy életen át tartó tanulmány lesz a számomra. Ettől kezdve folyamatosan dolgoztam ezzel a két mesterrel, akik nagyon nagy hatással vannak a mozgáskutatásomra.
A School for Body-Mind Centering által akkrediált szomatikus mozgás tanár és kezelő vagyok, a kontakt improvizáció általam képviselt felfogását pedig Steve Paxton személyes jóváhagyásával osztom meg.

I’m very happy to welcome Urs Stauffer to Budapest for the third time and continue the work of the previous years. Urs proposed to dedicate this year's workshop to the memory of Steve Paxton, the initiator of contact improvisation, who passed away this February but is still with us through his work.
Workshop description:
Remembering Steve
In 2022 Steve wrote on the subject of Contact Improvisation: “Go beyond small, to the place where no message is given. … It is not a dance about you, or your partner. It is a dance about its movement.“
And I wonder:
–Are we capable of letting go of our expectations in a Contact Improvisation dance?
–Where is the place of “no message“?
–Which are the directions we take from there?
–How do we focus our mind on emptiness when all we get is information from our own body, another dancer, the surroundings?
–How can we stay alert in the small?
–Where is the movement taking us when starting from small?
These are a few questions I would like to work on during this workshop.
About Urs:
I met Steve Paxton for the first time in 1989 and was deeply impressed by his
dance. The year after, 1990, I had for the first time the chance to work with
Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen and knew right away that Body-Mind Centering®
would be a life time project for me. Ever since I kept working with both of
these persons that are of great influence in my movement research.
I am Somatic Movement Educator and Practitioner certified by the School of
Body-Mind Centering and I share my understanding of Contact Improvisation
with the personal agreement of Steve Paxton.
