CONTACT IMPROVISATION: Hug & RollLet’s start rolling into the new year’s cycle playfully! No rush yet. Before we saddle the Fire Horse in February and properly wake up in spring, let’s pretend we’re pandas in snowy mountains.
This class invites you to explore how the mechanics of hugging and rolling can feed into our dance. We’ll play with gravity, axis, and spiraling up, and enjoy slow, attentive floor exploration.
The class will be followed by a jam session to practice in a spontaneous space and play a bit more.
No previous experience needed
Bring an extra pair of warm socks, changing clothes that cover your arms and legs, and your favorite snack to munch on afterwards.
Please come 5 min before the beginning of the class, so we could start on time
THE FACILITATOR
Margo Doletska is a CI practitioner from Ukraine and an interdisciplinary explorer of embodiment through voice work, theatre, body-based practices, and Gestalt therapy. Her work is related to understanding the body and creating spaces for authentic expression and connection.
