Contact Improvisation can be a powerful gateway for heightened mindfulness, safe connection, trust/confidence building, and empowerment. Exploring dance with other bodies can be deeply fun, transformational, and help us know ourselves even more. However for almost all of us, it can be frightening and awkward. It doesn't have to be, though!

This workshop includes:

✨Demystifying awkwardness, perfectionism, & over-thinking on the dance floor
✨Chi Gong (energy/breath/movement) for Grounding & Empowerment
✨How to approach/intiate a dance with someone, respectfully and consensually
✨Remembering child-like play and joy
✨Tap into the natural rhythms and movements of the earth through dance & contact

leave the jewelry at home! I like to wear tight-fitted clothes, t-shirts, or pants that won't get caught on other people. some people wear long sleeves and long pants. feel into what suits you, and bring options to change into if you'd like!

Katie is an Embodiment Guide and Intuitive Healer, fusing 11 years of experience with Mindfulness, Embodiment, Tantra, Taoism, Partner Dance, Trauma-Informed Somatics, Intuitive Energy healing, Chi Gong, Theta Healing, & Self-Sabotage reprogramming.
