The first part of the class is dedicated to breathing exercises and warm up. Gentle yoga flow will help us embody our awareness and let our life energy flow easily through our spine, so we can feel spirals in our body and articulate the spine movements.
In the second part, we'll move through the space solo and in couples and work on grounding, yielding, pushing and reaching. We'll also work with the soft spine, spirals and explore early developmental movement...
Also, some time will be dedicated to leading, following, tracing movements and dancing on your own but staying in connection with your partner.
We'll revisit the basic principles: the point of contact, rolling, changing levels, giving and receiving weight.
We'll dedicate some time to authentic movement as a great tool to experience our moving awareness.
Everyone who likes to move is invited and welcome. Bring comfy clothes, socks and water.

Martina Rožić is a certified yoga teacher, a contact improvisation dancer and teacher, researcher of somatic movement (bodywork) and movement in water (watermotion) with two decades of experience.
As a child she did gymnastics, acted in theatre and later dedicated most of the time to contemporary dance (release, contact improvisation, improvisation). She's worked with Sabine Parzer and completed her Holistic Dance and Movement Pedagogy teacher training. She's also completed Daniel Werner & Joerg Hassmann's CI training programme and has taught at Osterimprofestival (Germany), Tempelhof CI Festival (Germany), Vienna CI festival (Austria), Warsaw Flow CI festival, New Year London Jam etc. Her work is based on contact improvisation, authentic movement, bodywork, yoga and contemporary dance.
