Το Contact Beyond Contact (CBC) είναι μια πρακτική χορού και θεραπείας που ενσωματώνει τις μεθόδους Authentic Movement, Contact Improvisation και Passing Through με πρακτικές τσιγκόνγκ, γιόγκα, θεραπευτικές μεθόδους και ενεργειακή εργασία, ενσυνειδητότητα και ηγετικές δεξιότητες, ιδιοδεκτικές και εξωδεκτικές αισθήσεις, σωματικότητα και αρχές του συμπεριφορισμού, καθώς και τις φιλοσοφίες του Βουδισμού, του Ινδουισμού και του Ταοϊσμού. Αυτές οι πρακτικές είναι αλληλένδετες για να δημιουργήσουν μια ολιστική ενοποίηση του Σώματος, του Νου, της Καρδιάς και του Πνεύματος.
Η κύρια εστίαση του συντονιστή σε αυτήν την πρακτική είναι να κρατήσει χώρο δημιουργώντας ένα ασφαλές περιβάλλον στο οποίο οι άνθρωποι μπορούν να ενσωματωθούν, να μεταμορφωθούν και να θεραπεύσουν το σώμα,το μυαλό, την καρδιά και το πνεύμα. Αυτή η πρακτική θα σας επιτρέψει να συνδεθείτε γνήσια, ενεργητικά με τον εαυτό σας, τα άλλα άτομα, τον χώρο στον οποίο εργάζεστε και με τη φύση: τον κόσμο πέρα από τα όρια της σωματικής επαφής.
Σε ποια άτομα απευθύνονται οι συνεδρίες CBC;
Οι συνεδρίες CBC είναι ανοιχτές προς όλους - είτε είστε έμπειρος επαγγελματίας χορού ή θεραπευτής, είτε εντελώς αρχάριος στο χορό και τις ολιστικές και πνευματικές πρακτικές - το CBC σας προσκαλεί να δοκιμάσετε και να εξασκηθείτε.
Σας περιμένει ένας χώρος χωρίς κριτική, όπου θα ανακαλύψετε και θα εμβαθύνετε τις σχέσεις σας με τον εαυτό σας, τους άλλους και τον κόσμο. Οι δεξιότητες και τα εργαλεία που προσφέρονται είναι όλα συμπεριληπτικά, λαμβάνοντας υπόψη το κάθε άτομο και κατ’επέκταση καθιστούν την πρακτική κατάλληλη για όλα τα σώματα και τους ανθρώπους, ανεξάρτητα από το επαγγελματικό, πολιτιστικό και θρησκευτικό υπόβαθρό τους.

Συντονιστής: Ο Felix Metzger, γεννήθηκε και μεγάλωσε στη Γερμανία και μετακόμισε στην Αθήνα μετά το μεταπτυχιακό του στην Κοινωνιολογία και την εμβάθυνση σε διάφορους τομείς της τέχνης και του ακτιβισμού. Στην Ελλάδα ασχολήθηκε βαθύτερα με τις Τέχνες Αυτοσχεδιασμού, ιδιαίτερα το Contact Improv και το Θέατρο Αυτοσχεδιασμού. Από το 2016 παρακολουθεί μαθήματα CI καθώς και εκδηλώσεις 5 Rhythms and Ecstatic Dance ενώ τον Ιούλιο του 2023 παρακολούθησε το εκπαιδευτικό πρόγραμμα διευκόλυνσης του Contact Beyond Contact και ξεκίνησε τον Οκτώβριο 2023 να προσφέρει μαθήματα CBC. Μαζί με φίλους ίδρυσε τον συνεταιρισμό The Beehive Community στην Αθήνα το 2018. Η αποστολή του συνεταιρισμού είναι να προσφέρει μαθήματα και εκδηλώσεις στις οποίες οι συμμετέχοντες μπορούν να εξερευνήσουν την ύπαρξή τους στον κόσμο, να αυξήσουν την αυτογνωσία τους και να συνδεθούν βαθιά με τους άλλους. Αυτό συμβαίνει χρησιμοποιώντας τις Τέχνες Αυτοσχεδιασμού, τα εργαλεία επικοινωνίας και τις μεθόδους σύνδεσης που οδηγούν σε ένα ευχάριστο βίωμα και ένα άνοιγμα στην ευημερία και την κοινωνική αλλαγή.
Η μέθοδος Contact Beyond Contact δημιουργήθηκε από τον Ευάγγελο Λεγάκης και το μη κερδοσκοπικό οργανισμό Unity Space.

It is a practice to find your inner boundaries, true connection with oneself, with a partner and with the community.
Contact Beyond Contact (CBC) is a dance and healing practice that integrates Authentic Movement, Contact Improvisation and Passing Through with practices of qigong, yoga, healing modalities and energy work, mindfulness and leadership skills, proprioceptive and exteroceptive senses, somatics and principles of behaviorism, as well as the philosophies of Buddhism, Hinduism and Taoism. These practices are well-woven together to create a holistic integration of the Body, Mind, Heart and Spirit.
The facilitator’s main focus in this practice is to hold space by creating a safe-boundaries-environment in which people can integrate, transform and heal in body, mind, heart and spirit. This practice will allow you to genuinely, energetically connect with yourself, an-other, the space you are working in and with nature; the world beyond the means of physical contact.
Who are CBC sessions for?
CBC sessions are open to all – whether you are an experienced dance practitioner/ healer or a complete beginner to dance, holistic and spiritual practices – CBC welcomes you to experience and practice. The sessions offer you a non-judgmental space to discover and deepen your relationship within yourself, with others and the world around you. The skills and tools are all inclusive and take each individual into account, making it a practice available for all bodies and people of varying professional, cultural and religious backgrounds.
Movement has the capacity to take us to the home of the soul, the world within for which we have no name. Movement reaches our deepest nature, and dance creatively expresses it. Through dance, we gain new insights into the mystery of our lives. Facilitator:
Felix Metzger, born and raised in Germany, moved to Athens after his Master degree in Sociology and immersions in different fields of art and activism. In Greece he dove deeper into Improvisation Arts, especially Contact Improv and Improvisation Theatre. Since 2016 he has been following CI classes as well as 5 Rhythms and Ecstatic Dance events, in July 2023 he attended the facilitator training course of Contact Beyond Contact and started running CBC classes in October 2023. Together with friends he founded the cooperative The Beehive Community in Athens in 2018. The mission of the cooperative is to offer courses and events in which the participants are able to explore their being in the world, raise self-awareness and connect deeply with others. Doing this by using Improvisation Arts, communication tools and bonding methods that facilitate a blissful experience and an opening to wellbeing leading to social change.

We refer to as “healing” the homeostatic state of fine-tuned and integrated harmony of all ‘bodies’ of the human being, what in Greek is called Soma. This integration creates healthy and holistic relationships with oneself, with an-other, with communities and the world.
