Overview of Dementia Australia's flagship Consumer Engagement programs and the opportunities available with each.
About this Event

This session will provide an overview of the three flagship Consumer Engagement programs available at Dementia Australia: Dementia Advocates, Connecting Peers and Dementia-Friendly Communities.

You will learn about the broad range of opportunities available with each. There’s a role to suit every level or interest and availability.

These innovative programs have been codesigned by people living with dementia and their carers to elevate the voices and help meet the needs of people impacted by a dementia diagnosis.

Dementia Advocates, Peer Leaders and Dementia Australia staff will be available on the day to share their knowledge and experience and help answer any questions you may have.

Suitable for: People living with dementia, family carers and former carers.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Large free public car park attached to the venue, wheelchair access and there is public transport (bus stop) out the front of the venue.
