Construction Fest is a free event offering a variety of different hands-on activities for kids of all ages!Construction Truck Fashion Show: See a variety of construction vehicles on Main Street at 10:15am & 11:15am!
Touch a Truck: Come touch and explore different vehicles, including a Dump Truck, Street Sweeper, Forklift, Sidewalk Plow, and more!
Construction Hat Decoration Activity: Kids can decorate their own construction hat with stickers!
Kids Construction Zone: On City Hall Block, kids can build with giant foam blocks, and play Connect Four & Jenga!
Singalong at 10:30am: Join musician and early educator, Linda Bassick for a musical performance.
Storytime at 11:30am: Immerse yourself in storytelling with the amazing Fletcher Free Library staff.
Face Painting: Vermont Face & Body will have face painting, spray tattoos, and hair tinsel available!
Champ from 11a - 12p: Burlington’s favorite Lake Monster is clocking in with the crew! Come say hi, snap a photo, and give Champ a big wave.
Bubbles: The air will be sparkling! Bubble fun for all ages — pop, play, and repeat!
Matchbox Car Smashing: Smash it, bend it, crush it! Put your demolition skills to the test with this hands-on activity.
Coloring & Temporary Tattoos with the Fletcher Free Library: Get creative! Help bring a giant construction vehicle banner to life with color and grab a temporary tattoo to show off your builder spirit.

Suggested Parking: Get two hours free at the Main and Winooski lot, just one block away from the event. You can also get two hours free at the Downtown Garage (entrances on College, Cherry, and Battery streets). Just make sure to start a ParkMobile session!
