Join us for our Apprenticeship Taster Week, delivered in partnership with REAL Education as part of National Apprenticeship Week 2026.
This immersive, hands-on week is designed to give you a real taste of life in the construction industry. Enjoy live demonstrations, practical workshops, skills challenges, and Q&A sessions with professionals who know the trade best. You’ll meet real employers, try out new skills, and explore what your future in construction could look like.
Even better, you may be invited to interview with us during the week for the chance to secure an apprenticeship with Matthews & Tannert. We’re actively looking for enthusiastic, motivated individuals to join our growing apprenticeship programme, and we’ll also be offering work experience opportunities to help you take your first steps into the industry.
We will run two sessions each day: 10am–12pm and 1pm–3pm.
Please sign up for only one session per day, as both sessions cover the same content.
The timetable is as follows:
- Monday 9th February - Plastering
- Tuesday 10th Febraury - Electrics
- Wednesday 11th February - Plumbing and Heating
- Thursday 12th February - Joinery
Friday 13th February will be reserved for those who have received interviews throughout the week.
