Conserving Islands of Coherence in Seas of Uncertainty
Come join us at the in New York City for an event where two recognised leaders in coastal and marine conservation, Beto Bedolfe of the Marisla Foundation and Daniel Pauly of Oceana and the University of British Columbia, will explore, in an interaactive dialogue, the delicate balance between conservation efforts and community involvement, offering insights into preserving our precious coastal corridors. The conversation will reflect on the power and potential of corridors in coastal communities, and the innovative approaches being pursued to preserve the interconnectedness of human and environmental health in these rich spaces.
This event will also mark the start of the Bitou Community Foundation Trust’s online auction providing a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to secure three exclusive nights for up to 24 friends or family at the award-winning Cheetah Plains, renowned for its prime game viewing and iconic Big Five sightings, as well as Cheetah and African Wild Dog.
