The Conservatory Group Program Showcase is a multi-day event with performances including music and dance. The event showcases both youth and adult students studying at the University of Regina Conservatory of Performing Arts.Performances for DAY 2 will include the following (in performance order):
The Conservatory Adult Bagpipe Programs include classes for complete beginners playing bagpipes for the first time in addition to classes for amateur players who want a chance to keep playing their bagpipes outside of a band setting. These groups are led by Iain MacDonald.
The Regina Community Orchestra welcomes youth, adult, and senior musicians interested in playing orchestral music in a fun and safe environment. The orchestra provides opportunity to develop musical skills, socialize with others, and perform in the wider community. This course is open to anyone ages 13+ without audition. The orchestra is directed by Ryan Wheler.
Tickets are $8.40 in advance and $10.50 at the door (inclusive of fees and taxes). Seating is not assigned. Tickets can be purchased from the Darke Hall Box Office or online here: https://darkehall.ca/events/conservatory-group-program-showcase---day-2
