Conservatory Faculty Recital: Sonnets on the Keys

At 3:00pm Sunday, November 17, the Westminster Conservatory Faculty Recital Series will continue with a piano recital entitled "Sonnets on the Keys" performed by pianist Choah Kim. The recital will take place in Hillman Performance Hall, located on the Princeton Campus of Rider University, 101 Walnut Lane. The recital is open to the public free of charge.
The program on November 17 features music by Franz Liszt, including Three Sonnets by Petrarch, Three Nocturnes S. 541 “Liebesträume”, and two transcriptions for piano of songs by Robert Schumann, "Frühlingsnacht" and "Widmung". Two transcriptions for piano by Sergei Rachmaninoff of violin music by Fritz Kreisler, Liebesleid and Liebesfreud, complete the program.
