The James River Association is preparing to open the James A. Buzzard River Education Center and needs the Richmond community's assistance with planting native trees, shrubs, and herbaceous plant species. Volunteers will learn about the new river education center and stormwater management practices installed on grounds as part of their conservation landscaping experience. Tuesday, May 21: 9:00 am -12:00 pm
Tuesday, May 21: 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Wednesday, May 22: 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
Wednesday, May 22: 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Thursday, May 23: 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
Volunteers are encouraged to dress for the weather, wear sun protection, and bring a refillable water bottle.
