We all do our part to help the animals that are farmed for human consumption, but do you ever also think about the animals that live in the wild that now have to share their homes with us? Perfectly manicured lawns, invasive plants, man-made structures... our friends that rely on natural resources to survive need our help more then ever! The Department of Conservation will be talking to us about utilizing the space we have to work WITH nature - just in time to prepare for spring! Let this be the year of native pollinators, providing shelter for vulnerable little critters, and maybe even giving yourself a little less yardwork while you let nature do its thing.
We will be in Conference Room B at Daniel Boone Regional Library. Feel free to prepare some questions ahead of time! The room has seating for 14 plus our speaker, so please make sure to keep your RSVP current so we can have an accurate count of participants.
