About this Event
Join us for a new and exciting conservation day at the Welsh Harp - Brent Reservoir.
Event Details
Conservation day takes place every month. Activities include litter picking, pond maintenance, willow cutting, path reopening, and more! All welcome!
On Sunday 2nd of October, we are taking part in the ‘Reverse Tashlich’, launched by the international Jewish communities who, in reversal of the Jewish tradition of Tashlich (throwing bread onto the waters to symbolically represent sins floating away), come to help clean up a body of water. The Synagogue’s Environmental Action Team, together with the Edgware and Hendon Reform Synagogue and the West London Synagogue, will join us and will try to make this happen in the Welsh Harp which is the nearest water source in North-West London.
