Each session will focus on a different group of invasives commonly found in our region, like Japanese Barberry, Winged Euonymus, Japanese Knotweed, and Oriental bittersweet, and cover safe, effective treatment techniques using mechanical control methods.
- Learn proper identification techniques
- Understand plant life cycles and treatment timing
- Practice hands-on control methods in the field
- Build skills to lead and educate others
For adults and teens ages 16+ accompanied by an adult. Pre-registration is required for this 4-week series. Wear insect repellent, sun protection, long pants and sleeves, a hat, and work gloves. Bring water.
