About this Event
Step into an evening of movement with the theme of: Dancing with Shadows.
This month, we invite you to explore the unseen parts, unspoken emotions, and aspects of self that linger quietly beneath the surface. Through rhythm and embodied expression, guided by Hassti Hamidi, we meet the tender, hidden layers within, allowing what has been held in silence to move, breathe, and find its way into the light.
Joining us this month is special guest Ash Bigdeli, whose live shaker will deepen the experience and awaken the body’s intuitive response. Together, we invite you to move with what’s hidden, to listen with your body, and to let silence become movement.
Come dance your depth, your truth, your shadow and remember: every shadow is cast by light.

What is Conscious Movement Practice/ Ecstatic Dance?
Conscious Movement Practice is a unique style of dance that is all about free expression and letting your body move to the beat of your own drum. Unlike traditional dance classes, there’s no choreography to follow or steps to learn. Instead, it’s all about letting go and allowing the music to guide you, enabling authentic movement exploration. Conscious Movement Practice has been demonstrated to help with stress and anxiety reduction, promoting alignment of mind, body, soul, and spirit. During a Conscious Movement Practice session, you’ll find yourself surrounded by a community of like-minded individuals who share a passion for movement and self-exploration. Everyone, regardless of their dance experience, is welcome to participate and enjoy the fun.
