Boost your parenting toolbox with some new discipline skills! Parenting 3.0 will address the skill of positive intent....seeing all behavior as communication and helping to reframe your child's behavior so teachable moments are created. With this, children learn new skills through conflict situations. We will talk about empathy and active listening as well as consequences that teach new behaviors. Presented by Kristine Schaeffer, Connected Discipline LLC.
Program will start at 10:00 am and go until noon. Registration is now open. If you cannot find childcare, the library will have activities for ages 3-9 from 10-noon.
