Conscious Discipline: Classroom Management that Works

This in-person two-part workshop lead by a local, skilled early childhood teacher will provide an introductory understanding of Conscious Discipline practices. Participants will see a real preschool classroom to visualize how Conscious Disicpline is integrated into the day-to-day routines. Completion of both sessions yields 5 total CHCs plus a copy of the New Conscious Discipline book, valued at $39.00

Training Date: Thursday March 6 AND March 13 (Participants must attend both events to receive full training credit)

Time: 6:15pm – 8:15pm both nights

Location: Verner Center for Early Learning (East location, 2586 Riceville Road, Asheville 28805)

Cost: $30.00

CHCs– 5 CHCs (4 in-person hours plus a small homework component equivalent to an additional contact hour)

About the trainer:

Dani Ellis is a 20-year veteran educator in early education who has been trained in practices including trauma informed, emotionally responsive , and brain sciences. She believes that working with the whole child is the key to supporting behaviors in the classroom. Dani has been using Conscious Discipline for the past five years and has seen a true transformation in her own classroom management.

There is no childcare offered at this training. Light snacks will be provided, and participants are welcome to bring their own food as well.
