About this Event
I am inviting you to an afternoon of collective self-discovery & healing in a group using the practice of Conscious Connected Breathwork.
This is a practice that is near and dear to me. Practicing on myself and others, one-on-one and in groups, with hundreds of hours of training, I have personally seen this technique, both in myself and others:
- Enhance energy levels, mental clarity, relaxation, & overall nervous system dynamism and adaptiveness.
- Release stress and build long-term stress resiliency
- Free the body and mind of the energies of crisis, anxiety, trauma, or grief stuck in the unconscious.
- Entrain deeper, more grounded bodily and emotional awareness.
- Gain clarity about the past, present, and future.
- Connect more deeply and authentically with yourself, others, and your passion in life.
This is a breathing practice which has roots in some of the oldest spiritual traditions on the planet, and combines Chinese and Thai bodywork with an intimate understanding of the nervous system, trauma, attachment, and neuroception. The practice generates neuroplasticity, which with attuned stimulus and support allows the renegotiation of both conscious and unconscious memories, emotions, patterns of thought, and beliefs.
It allows people to let go of what does not serve them, and to open and receive what it is they need from themselves. You are in the driver's seat; as your facilitator I am using the totality of my knowledge and awareness to support you fully in fulfilling your intention.
It is my hope that through our own emotional courage and self-work that we can build a world where our hearts can find healing, where we can connect more deeply with ourselves and others, and where we can receive and share in all of life's beauty.
The circle opens between 2:50pm and 3:00pm. We will start off orienting to the space and engaging in some light movement and awareness exercises. This is followed by education about how to clinical breathwork, and what to expect during the session. We will set and share our intentions for what we wish to receive or let go of in our practice, before a water break and then dropping into the conscious connected breathwork practice. We finish with an optional share and close the circle together at the 5:00pm.
You are encouraged to bring:
- Comfortable clothing that is easy to move in
- An intention about what you wish to receive or let go of from the session
- A small appetite, as breathwork is more effective without a heavy meal prior
- (Optional) Water bottle & Eye mask
- Time: 2:50pm to 5:00pm. Out of consideration for the integrity of the container doors close once the circle starts at 3:00pm, so please be on-time or early.
- Spots: 8 people.
- Location: 3586 West 4th Avenue, Vancouver. This is on the corner of Dunbar and W 4th avenue, two doors east of Aphrodite's Pies.
- Parking: there is paid parking along W 4th, and free parking in neighboring streets.
A facilitator is available in the days and weeks for one-on-one integration calls, as added support for your process in integrating some of the shifts which can occur during a conscious connected breathwork session. Please feel free to reach out to book your own at any stage in your journey of integration.
Conscious connected breathwork may cause complications in those in an advanced stage of pregnancy, those with a history of cardiopulomonary issues/surgeries or advanced kidney disease, or who suffer from psychosis or schizophrenia. If you present with any of these contraindications please inform the facilitator and alternative breathing techniques to support your intention and journey will be utilized.
I look forward to connecting with you. Fell free to reach out for a discovery call to see how I can support you.

About the facilitator

Michael Gudewill is a trained Conscious Connected Breathwork Facilitator with hundreds of hours of experience in the practice of breathwork and meditation. His journey with health and wellness began after suffering a burnout in 2010 from a combination of stresses from work, anxiety, video game addiction, diet, and Medic*tion side effects. After experiencing powerful shifts in groundedness, embodiment, self-awareness, and emotional resiliency through conscious connected breathwork he is blessed and privileged to share this powerful and transformative work with others. Michael brings from his journey a trauma-informed understanding of psychology and neuroscience: perspectives he brings to his personal life, work in Fourth Way-inspired groups, and clinical practice.
