About this Event
Conpulsion is Edinburgh’s board game and role-playing game convention. With the sad exception of the Covid years it has run every year since 1987. It is an excellent and welcoming place for people of all ages to meet fellow board gamers, role-players, and LARPers (live-action role-players). The event includes 5 RPG slots (three on Saturday, two on Sunday), a board games room with demos and pick up and play games, a trade hall, a geektastic charity auction, a nerdy pub quiz, and much more! Throughout the event we will also be raising money for this year's charity partner, the Edinburgh Rape Crisis Centre.

Children over 12 require a ticket to attend, and are restricted from taking part in any games rated as Adults Only. Children 12 and under will need a ticket if they want to play in any Child Friendly rated games, or are allowed free entry if they're just accompanying a parent or guardian but not playing in any games. Anyone under 16 will also need to be accompanied by a responsible adult while they're at the convention.
