It’s the 2024 Connie Gilbert Scholarship Fundraising for women’s scholarships hosted by the Key West Chapter of the National Organization for Women! Andy Thurber will be painting at the event so we are super excited! A portion of the painting’s sale will be donated to the Scholarship. Live orchid auction music by local musicians, silent auction raffle and poetry reading. In 2023 scholarships totaling $8000 were awarded to several Monroe County female identifying women and we are doing it again this year with your help.
The awards are given in honor of Connie Gilbert who was a local activist for human rights, a poet and one of the founders of our Chapter.
