Connections: Stories That Bind Us | Short Film Screening
Friday, November 7 | Connecticut State Community College at Housatonic
5pm-6pm Artist Meet and Greet | 6pm-8:00pm Film Screening and Talkback
Join the Bridgeport Film Fest for Connections: Stories that Bind Us at the Connecticut State Community College at Housatonic on Friday, November 7th for a free community event celebrating local storytelling and creativity as part of the 2025 Bridgeport Art Trail!
The night begins with a Filmmaker & Artist Mixer from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m., a chance to meet local creatives, network, and share ideas. Immediately following, weβll present a special screening of short films by local filmmakers built around the theme of connections; exploring how stories, relationships, and shared experiences bring people and communities closer together.
We are honored to showcase a lineup of four impactful short films that reflect the many ways connections shape our lives across cultures and communities. This event is free to attend and open to all, so bring a friend, classmate, or neighbor and join us for an inspiring evening of conversation, creativity, and community.
Featuring the short films:
- Greatest Guy You Never Met directed by Brian Russell
- Kyle Jordan: An Elevation to Society directed by Jason Kazadi, Dejauhn Leverett
- Red, White & Untrue directed by Dorian Robinson
- Young Hot Divorcee directed by Tova Hopemark
and more!
