"When I arrived in Helsinki for NBF2024 last year, I didn't know anyone, who would be also going to the conference. I was hoping to meet fellow participants at the hotel, by chance. That's not what happened though. I didn't mind that at all and I was looking forward to meeting people during the conference. I did that over the course of the two days but it was rushed, in-between talks, during coffee & lunch breaks. The conference was outstanding! I left inspired and having learnt a lot! What I realized after the conference was that there was something missing that could have elevated my overall experience even more. That was an opportunity to get to know other participants ahead of the event itself and then connect with them throughout the expereince.
