Ok here are the plans for Phase 1 of our 45th gatherings. 1. Fri Oct 3. You can attend the Homecoming Game Friday night Oct 3. There will be a block of seats set aside for the Class of 80'. Simply tell the ticket booth you want to sitt in the Class of 80 section. Admisstion is $5 per person [3$ for youth if you have grandchildren in two]. Suggestions for Signs : We are playing Parma West. Kick off is 7 pm. Be sure to follow this page. I believe there is a growing group interested in a tailgate location on the grounds pre game. "FOLLOW" to stay informed.
2. Sat Oct 4 We are hosting a conversations / connections on Saturday Oct 4 at the Holiday Inn 12812 Harper Village Dr, Battle Creek, MI 49014. There are no fees. The class fund will pay for some light appetizers. There will be non alcoholic or alcoholic [your choice] beverages available for anyone wanting to pay. No charge for water. I am finalizing the time with the manager Monday. It will be a few hours later afternoon into early evening.
3. I do have a discount rate at Holiday Inn for anyone needing accommodations for Fri or Sat night. I will post the code early next week for booking. We have a small set of rooms blocked for Out of Town guest. Text me @ 269 317 8686 if you need room details. Bill and I are happy to host out of town guests in our home as well. I also know there are several other local alumni willing to help. They have posted their name and contact info below.
4. We are looking at Nov/Dec for an evening social time which would be held back at Holiday Inn 12812 Harper Village Dr. More details will be available for folks to chose a "Date that Works". The event will be appetizers, some background listening music and lots of space to connect, have conversations and simply connect.
Anyone who can not afford a ticket to the Football game please pm me. We would love to find a way to cover your admission.
