The founders of the museum will talk about how the Fashion History Museum came to be in Cambridge, including images of items in the collection, and information about current and upcoming shows.Cambridge was at the heart of the textile and clothing production industries in Canada in the 19th Century. Established in Cambridge with an international presence, Fashion History Museum (FHM) chronicles the necessity and cultural expression of clothing, has mounted shows at the Museum in the old Hespeler Post Office, and at the Regional Museum, drawing up to 24,000 visitors per show. Major Museums across the world have been mounting fashion exhibitions more frequently in the past two decades, with greater and greater success and popularity.
