About this Event
Connection Crew: Young Adult Life Skills & Social Group is an inclusive, occupational and/or speech therapist-led group designed for transition-age young adults ages 17+ who are ready to grow their confidence in everyday life skills. Each week, we’ll focus on a practical topic—like planning and organization, money management, self-regulation, personal safety, or navigating the community—with a short presentation, open discussion, and real-life practice.
We also make space to connect, make friends, and build a strong sense of self through social time and peer support. Whether your goal is increased independence, smoother transitions, or just feeling more confident in the real world, this group offers a supportive space to learn, share, and grow. Perfect for anyone seeking extra guidance with life and pre-vocational skills.
Parents and caregivers are encouraged to drop off participants for this group, as it is designed to support independent engagement and peer interaction.
Multiple sessions are available to suit your schedule—join one, a few, or all!
