Connecting Women in Business is hosting a panel discussion at our Nov. 19 luncheon with Women Leaders of the Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians, in celebration and recognition of Native American Heritage Month. Registration closes Wednesday, Nov. 13 at 5pm. We are excited to be joined by: Tribal Chairperson, Regina Gasco as well as Winnay Wemigwase of the Tribal Historic Preservation Office and Billi Jo Head, the new Department of Commerce Director. This is a special and unique opportunity to learn more about the work of the tribe in our area.
The luncheon will be at Odawa Hotel. Registration and networking take place from 11:30am to noon. The buffet lunch will be available at 11:45am. The program will begin at noon with the panel discussion starting around 12:20pm. and the event will conclude at 1pm.
The buffet lunch will include: Vegetarian Apple Butternut Bisque, mixed green salad, Mostaccioli Primavera (vegetables, tomatoes, garlic and olive oil and Parmesan cheese), Chicken Piccata with couscous and caper lemon butter sauce, roasted baby carrots and assorted mini sweets.
Cost is $35 for CWIB members and $45 for all others. PLEASE NOTE: Registration closes Wednesday, November 13 at 5pm. Any cancellations or no-shows after this time will be charged.
