Once a large gap in the Meewasin Trail, the new trail section from the Sanatorium site to the Gordie Howe Bridge in the SW corner of Saskatoon illustrates the successful conversion of roadway to Meewasin / Trans Canada Trail. Sandwiched between the Holiday Park golf course and the river, this unique urban multi-use trail and wildlife corridor showcases many natural features along with some of the best trail in the city. Join Meewasin Resource Management and Development staff as they walk you through the natural features of the area and the trail building process. The walk will leave from Spadina Crescent terminus/turnaround east of the Sanatorium Site and head south from there along the trail.
Remember all Jane's Walk guided tours are free of charge.
