The Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) Showcase and Networking Event is a chance to learn more about the RADF program and hear firsthand from a panel of successful applicants about the inspiring arts projects happening across our region.
The opening night offers a valuable opportunity to connect with fellow creatives and expand your network. The Showcase Exhibition will be on display for a week, highlighting the diversity of locally driven arts, cultural, and heritage initiatives supported by RADF in recent years.
Our panel will include:
Avi Amesbury – Ceramic and Multidisciplinary Artist
Ceramic and multidisciplinary artist exploring connections to place and identity. She holds a Bachelor of Visual Arts (Honours) from the ANU School of Art and has exhibited nationally and internationally and is a Council Member of the International Academy of Ceramics.
Keely Ellen – Musician
18-year-old singer-songwriter from Bundaberg whose music blends pop and country influences. A Troy Cassar-Daley Scholarship recipient and former Australian Idol contestant, she has performed at major events including the Gympie Music Muster and released her debut single Redhead in 2024.
William Debois – Photographer & Visual Artist
French-trained photographer and visual artist based in Gladstone. A graduate of Plymouth College of Art and Design with over 30 years’ experience, his portrait and documentary work explores people, place, and identity. His Sacrifice project combines portrait photography and oral histories to highlight contemporary social issues..
Norelle Watson – First Nations Cultural Practitioner & Educator
Norelle brings over 30 years’ experience in the not-for-profit sector and deep knowledge of the social, economic, and political issues affecting First Nations communities. She now applies this expertise with Stepping Black and is committed to preserving First Nations culture, language, and the arts.
