What to expect:
Join Transit Forward and community partners for a family focusedt event on Sunday, August 24th from 10:30am-12:30pm at the Pease Park Tudor Cottage. Expect transit oriented kids crafts, a raffle, interactive stations, booths from community partners and project connect information. This free, public event is designed to be inclusive, high-energy and community oriented with space for families to relax, play, and learn more about transit options in Austin and Project Connect.

Getting there:
Bound tightly in the vibrant core of our growing city, Pease Park is accessible by public transportation. There are 5 Capital Metro bus stops for the 5 bus that are conveniently located along Lamar:
- 31st and Lamar, near the north trailhead entry
- 29th and Lamar, near Lamar Terrace
- 24th and Lamar, near Live Oak Meadow
- MLK and Lamar and 12th and Lamar, located near Kingsbury Commons, the world-class public green space at the park’s southern end.
