About this Event
The Central Missouri PCC will be hosting its annual mailers conference October 9th through October 11th at Camden on the Lake, Lake of the Ozark Missouri. This year’s conference is set to be the best yet! Due to the great turn out last year, and overwhelming interest we have decided to extend this year’s conference. With this extension we will now be offering seminars on both Thursday October 10th and Friday October 11th. We will also be offering several networking opportunities including golf and a hospitality room Wednesday October 9th, and a sunset cruise across the Lake of the Ozark on Thursday October 10th. Below you will find more detailed information on the different ticketing options as well as examples of the types of seminars you can expect to see at this year’s event.
Wednesday October 9, 2024, at the Cove with a round of golf at 12:15 PM. We will then be welcoming all attendees with a hospitality room (more details available upon registration. The event will be from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Camden on the Lake. This year’s hospitality room will include a taco bar and drinks so please come ready for a good time and a great opportunity to catch up with Postal and Industry professionals and make valuable new connections.
Thursday October 10, 2024, we will jump into the educational portion of our event. Starting at 8:00 AM we will be offering onsite registration and a breakfast buffet. Following breakfast, we will have opening speeches then release everyone to attend the different seminar options. We will have several different seminars throughout the day with a break for lunch at 12:00 PM. A list of the seminars being offered is below. There will also be a silent auction set up and accepting bids throughout the day. We will be announcing the winners during dinner and awards starting at 5:00 PM. After dinner, please join us while we unwind during our evening networking cruise. The cruise will pick up and drop of at Camden on the Lake.
Friday October 11, 2024 we will be concluding our event with breakfast starting at 8 a.m. Following breakfast, we will hold one business session which is tentatively from the Postal Inspection Service.

In this session, you will learn how to identify ways to know your audience. Learn the three sensory learning preferences. Discuss five components of training plans and optimize them for adult-learners. We will demonstrate a four=step process for teaching a task to any learning preference and discuss three essential elements of effective feeder.

Mailer’s Scorecard, Business Customer Gateway and another exciting presentation from the United States Postal Inspectors.
