Connecting Across Cultures – Stories, Maps & Misunderstandings
When people from all over the world live, study, or work together, misunderstandings are bound to happen. We all carry our own beliefs, norms, and communication styles — deeply shaped by the cultures we grew up in.
But connecting across cultures also brings inspiration, exchange, and diversity. It can open your eyes to entirely new ways of thinking, being, and seeing the world.
In this workshop, you’ll learn more about different cultural norms, how they sometimes clash, and more importantly, how to navigate them with awareness so you can experience the beauty of intercultural exchange. You’ll also reflect on your own cultural background, share stories, and practise connecting and finding community in diversity, right there in the room.
In this interactive and playful workshop, we’ll explore:
