Connecticut Oral Health Initiative’s 2025 Annual Meeting and Celebration
Join us for an inspiring evening of connection, learning, and celebration at the Pond House Café in West Hartford as we kick off Connecticut's Health Equity Week. Together, we’ll honor our collective achievements and deepen the conversation on how we can improve equitable access to oral health care in Connecticut.

Oral Health Champion Awards
COHI will be presenting several awards to celebrate those making impacts on helping achieve better health for all of Connecticut.
Nominations will be accepted until Friday, February 28.
The award categories are:
Howard I. Mark Award - The Howard I. Mark Award is presented annually to a leader in oral health access in Connecticut. Dr. Mark, our co-founder and retired oral surgeon, is passionate about access to quality oral health services. He believes everyone should have the opportunity to attain good oral health, no matter their income or wealth.
Oral Health Champion Award - The Oral Health Champion Award is presented annually to an organization or individual(s) who have advocated alongside COHI to support our mission to strengthen and safeguard access to quality, affordable oral health services for all Connecticut residents.
Legislative Champion Award - The Legislative Champion Award is presented annually to Connecticut Legislators who advocate for changes in policy and increased funding to provide better oral health for all Connecticut residents, especially those who are currently underserved and receiving inequitable care.
