About this Event
The most fun and effective hands on cutting you have ever had! This class will change you life! We will spin thread into gold and turn water into wine with this class. Having existential dread about the futility of life? Guess what, not anymore! Not after this class.
Tools required: DOLL HEAD STAND (we provide the dolls), scissors, razor with new blade (feather razor), combs, clips, paddle brush, rounds brush, blow dryer.
CLASS BREAKDOWN:
This is a fully hands on lesson from start to finish. You will do two full cuts, one with a scissor, and one with a razor. The looks we pick are based off of what we are most requested of in the salon for the current season. We aim to teach you techniques and shapes that you can use in the salon every day. Things that you clients are asking for all the time! Not only that but we make it a pritoty to make you a generally more confident and capable haircutting. We want all the anxiety and stress about cutting to melt away so you can have fun and make a lot of money cutting hair in the salon!
First cut is a longer shape. Modern layers with versatile styling cut with scissors/shears. The bread and butter for cutting in the salon. At least 50% of clients are wearing their hair long and this haicut will help you master techniques to keep things interesting and fun for your long hair/layer clients!
Second cut is a layered bob shape with "curtain fringe "cut with a razor. There is always a version of a bob that is popular. We will show you methods of creating this bob that you can alter season to season so that your cleints always feel current and fashion forward!
