Arboretum staff welcome students, faculty, staff and the public to explore the Arboretum center for education and research (Acer) at 33 Gallows Lane to learn about the Connecticut College Arboretum, our mission and the opportunities we provide for projects, learning and reflection including:• horticultural collections and gardens
• natural areas and hiking trails
• student employment/internship opportunities
• student/class projects and research opportunities
• public programs
• gallery space
• horticultural library

4:30 pm: Red Maple Loop Trail guided hike (20 min)
5:00 pm: Opening of new North Entrance pedestrian gate to the Native Plant Collection
5:15 pm: Native Plant Collection guided tour (45 min)
5:30 pm: Red Maple Loop Trail guided hike (20 min)
