Connecticut writer Gail Howard, author of White Wife/Blue Baby, will read passages from her book, talk about memoir writing, as well as about unlearning racism as a white person. Howard’s memoir intertwines two stories: marrying across the color line in the superheated sixties Chicago and nurturing a dangerously ill baby girl. Copies of her book will be available for purchase and signing at the event. No registration required for this free event for adults.
