We asked choir members to tell us about their backgrounds--their culture, their nationality, their origins--and we got many wonderful answers. We chose the music around these identities. There is mostly folk music, but there is also concert music from around the world. We're singing in five different languages. We have children's songs from the Philippines and Mexico, lullabies from central Europe and Wales, Scottish songs, German songs, songs from the British Isles, and of course music from the US. Join us on Sunday, October 19, at Dayspring UMC for this tuneful, toe-tapping world tour!
